BUSY BEAVER BUTTON CO. SUPPORTS THE VIB! In the world of snow sculpting, it takes a lot of people besides us to make things happen. Maintaining the interest of our fans over the last 21 years has resulted in us forging bonds with a lot of companies in order to pay the bills. Not surprisingly, however, our best sponsors are the ones who help us promote ourselves and keep us in the thoughts of the spectators when we're NOT sculpting... which is MOST of the year. What's the single most popular thing we give away? Well, it's funny buttons, of course.
This year our friends at Chicago's Busy Beaver Button Co. have graciously stepped up to the plate to take some of the button making burden off of us. We're talking really cool professionally made 1 1/4 inch buttons with one of our favorite Weasel-Slams (for you VIB-fan newbies, that's a quote from one of our give-aways like "Made from 100% Weasel Guts"). We can't tell you what it is until the event starts on January 20th. You have to get off your lazy butts and come see us to get your buttons. Busy Beaver was originally launched in 1995 in Bloomington, Indiana, as "Li'l One Inch Button Co" by Christen Carter. Since then the company has moved from Bloominton to San Francisco and then to Chicago in 1998. They've worked on over 18,000 button designs and produced millions of buttons... including ours!
